This was truly the most memorable diving vacation of my life. The location was stunning, the team was fantastic, and every dive was an unforgettable experience. I felt completely immersed in the beauty of the underwater world. However, even in such a paradise, the sheer amount of plastic pollution in the ocean was heartbreaking. It’s impossible to ignore, and it cast a shadow over an otherwise perfect trip. While I will always cherish the incredible moments and the amazing people I met, the sight of so much ocean waste was a stark reminder of the challenges our seas face.

Great place to spend your once in a lifetime trip to dive the reefs in and around Raja Ampat. World class experience to be enjoyed here. Great food and kind, helpful staff. Unparalleled diving in the area. Everything you've heard about Raja Ampat diving is true. Dive sites picked to your skill level. Advanced divers won't be disappointed.

Let’s stick to the facts: 1. We arrived from Waisai in a brutal storm and heavy rain and were soaked to the bone. We managed to run into the divers’ house, and no one inside even asked if we needed help, a towel, or where to go. Everyone was just sitting on their phones. We were freezing and had to walk around with a translator on our phone, literally showing the screen asking for a towel and directions. Only after that did one of the divers finally help us, bring a towel, and escort us to the hotel lobby. 2. We were checked into the room and later given hot tea — thank you for that. However, the room itself was tiny and very old. The ceiling is falling apart, water does not drain properly in the bathroom. The only positives were that the air conditioner worked well and there was a hair dryer. 3. We then asked about diving. We were told that to sign up for diving we would need to wait 2–3 days. What kind of nonsense is that? In the end, we booked diving immediately at a neighboring dive center. After that, the hotel was unhappy that we did so — are we supposed to feel like we’re in prison? 4. On one of the days, we asked for a packed lunch. It was given to us, but when lunchtime came, half of the food was spoiled and impossible to eat. Other guests from the same hotel who went diving with the hotel’s dive center confirmed the same issue. When we reported this after returning, we were told that this was “normal,” and the staff simply walked away. Seriously? 5. After that “wonderful” lunch, we were hungry and prepared instant noodles that we had brought with us in the kitchen. A manager then approached us and said that we were not allowed to do that and that we should buy noodles from the hotel instead. This is absolutely shameful behavior for a hotel. 6. When we were leaving, no one offered to help with our luggage until we explicitly asked. At the same time, they were very quick to charge us for paid meals and laundry. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If the hotel responds with any contradictions to this review, it would only bring shame on them. The only thing I have no complaints about is the territory — it is beautiful. Everything else was terrible, and I honestly don’t understand why crowds of Australian and British tourists are brought here.
