4.6 · 16 reviewsAmazing place, amazing people, and amazing food! We stayed 4 nights at Raflow and immediately felt at home. The location is stunning, and the house reef is full of life, we saw plenty of fish, cuttlefish, reef sharks, and even a cute walking shark that seemed to be a local resident! The resort provides fins and masks free of charge, which made snorkeling easy and fun. We spent three nights in the small room and were upgraded to a bungalow for our last night. The small room was perfectly comfortable, but the bungalow had a special charm: it’s more spacious, with a larger and more modern bathroom. The food was excellent: varied, flavorful, and of high quality, especially the fresh fish. We particularly enjoyed the lunches and dinners, while breakfast could be improved by even just adding juice. The resort also offers different excursions; we did the Kali Biru (Blue River) tour with the help of Dani and Sandy, who took care of everything. Dani was an amazing help for whatever we needed, extremely kind and available, and also offer transportation by car. You can also rent a scooter for a very reasonable price to explore the area on your own. I absolutely recommend staying here, it was truly one of our best travel experiences!

I’m leaving a positive review because this place is definitely worth staying at. The staff are very friendly and provide great service, though not many of them speak English. That said, they are always willing to help you solve any issues. The breakfast is very simple—just bread—which wasn't a problem for me. Lunch quality can be hit-or-miss, but dinner is usually quite good, typically with two meat dishes. The only two downsides I can think of are that if there are too many guests, there sometimes isn't enough food to go around, and there is no on-site dive shop.

The resort is more like a homestay. Rooms are really basic and not that clean. The bathroom smelled bad and had a huge insect nest which nobody really noticed?! And no, the manager didn't offer us to stay in another room. The food was basic but ok. On the other hand the staff and the manager Marvin are really really nice and try to accommodate you and help you with your plans and needs.
