Ahmed was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He went above and beyond to help us arrange our trips, making sure every single detail was taken care of and that we had everything we needed as a family. His support made the whole process completely stress-free, and our trips turned out to be truly magical — exactly what we had hoped for and more. Ahmed was incredibly helpful, friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to create unforgettable family memories.
Pyramid Diving Center was unfortunately one of the most disappointing dive operations I’ve used. For a PADI 5-Star Resort, the whole experience felt rigid, profit-driven, and lacking passion. You are forced to do a shore dive before any boat dive, and because I hadn’t dived in 12 months (my last dive was 16 months ago with 100+ logged dives), I had to pay for a full-price refresher — no flexibility at all. I was also charged $8 per nitrox tank, yet every tank I measured was barely at 30% O₂, sometimes lower, which is unacceptable at this level. Out of 7 dives (8 including the refresher), only one reached the advertised 45-minute limit. All the others ended early because the group wasn’t matched by experience. The dives were very shallow, and I consistently came out with 100+ bar still in the tank. Poor air consumption isn’t the dive center’s fault — but poor group matching is, and it makes the dives much shorter and far less enjoyable for experienced divers. Crew interaction was mixed: day one had almost no engagement, no debriefs, and most staff kept to themselves. Day two was noticeably better, with a friendlier atmosphere and good food on board. Underwater, the professionalism was solid — when my mask broke mid-dive, my guide gave me his own — and my dive instructor on the second day was fantastic with my daughter and made sure my wife and I had as much time in the water as possible. Equipment was functional but clearly worn: a regulator with a shifting flow-control dial and a BCD inflator button that stuck every time I pressed it. This dive center might be fine for beginners, casual holiday divers, or families, but experienced divers will miss the passion, flexibility, proper nitrox, and full dive times you expect in the Red Sea. As a PADI 5-Star Resort, it simply doesn’t deliver the quality the label suggests.
Pick up from the hotel was smooth and easy. Safety briefing was thorough. Focus from the team was about your safety. Great snorkelling and the wife tried a taster scuba dive. Fantastic coral and fish. Will go out again with them on our return next year. Only negative - can’t see the point of stopping at the white island with 300 other people 🤷🏻♀️ Special call out for Ahmed who looked after us when snorkelling & Mohammed when diving! Good value for money trip!!
