Project X Scuba

Amazing hostel! Clean comfortable private rooms with AC and ensuite bathrooms. Water, coffee, tea, and snacks available at all times throughout the day. Good breakfast provided each morning. Washing machine available for guests to use. Kitchen available for guests as well. Great tours available to book through the hostel and at very reasonable prices. Did 1 day of scuba diving- Ben and Morgan are fantastic scuba guides! Very happy with the dive day. Friendly and helpful staff. All around great place and has everything a hostel needs. Only wish there was a common space to chill at and to eat breakfast at.

I reserved two tours with you them. The price is really really the best in all semporna All was so perfect that I felt at home. Sarah the woman who reserved the tours is so kind and she explained all the possibilities... The guides on the boat wonderful,cute ,kind,smiling and prepared people. I want to say a BIG THANKS to Adi..he helped me a lot in the water and he took me to so the title... I always felt safe and really at home. 100 per cent raccommended.

I had the most amazing time doing my open water certification at Project X. I was initially nervous and backed out of doing my certification in Koh Tao as I did not feel comfortable with the dive schools there. However almost instantly I felt incredibly safe and supported having met dive master Morgan. Morgan is one of the nicest guys I've ever met and we had a great time diving in Semporna. He taught me so much more than just the open water content which I think was all very important. His teaching style is so easy to grasp. To teach underwater where you cannot speak is no easy feat, however with his experience and charisma, I swear I could hear his voice talking me through every teaching moment, never did I feel alone or panicky under his care. He has a true passion for diving and the general marine ecosystem. He and his team welcomed me to a new part of the world, one I never would have known otherwise and I encourage anyone with an interest in diving or even snorkeling to pop in and say hello to Project X. I will be back hopefully sooner than later to do my Adv Open Water, I refuse to do it anywhere else. The best instructor, all new equipment, great lunch and accommodation, couldn't ask for anything more. Also on the second day I was the only one diving so Morgan took me out for a 1 on 1 masterclass at Mabul for no extra charge. I think this speaks of what Project X is about, they are not about the money but about creating divers of highest skill and instilling a passion for the environment. I really hope to have convinced people to pop in to Project X, I've been traveling SE Asia for 3.5 months now and this experience may very well be my best experience yet and certainly one of the best experiences of my life to date.
