An exceptional, meaningful diving experience. This dive center truly stands out for its strong commitment to marine conservation and coral restoration. You can feel that these are not just words, but a …
I did my training here from Advanced Open Water to Divemaster over about 10 weeks and had a really great experience. The dive sites around Nusa Penida are beautiful, everything was well organized, and the equipment was in good condition. …
I highly recommend doing your dive master and/or instructor course with project laut. They hold you and your skills to a higher standard here and ensure that when you leave you leave with confidence in your abilities. They have amazing instructors like marine scientist Abas, he knows all about the Project Laut Restoration Site and the corals planted on it, and will happily help practice your skill circuit with you, and help you with the ecology specialties part of your DM course. Then we have co-owner instructor Sita who has amazing knowledge in the science behind scubadiving and is tech certified. She always pushes students to their ultimate potential as divers so they can ensure their own safety along with others. Last but not least other co-owner instructor Joma who mainly teaches the instructor courses but it isnt unlikely that you'll see him help around everywhere. He has extensive knowledge on scuba equipment and photography and would be happy to give any tips and pointers on your photography as he has done for me if you just ask. Everyone at Project Laut are all important components to the company and all excell in different places but that is what makes them such an amazing team. They are all so skilled, knowledgable, passionate and most importantly are like a second family to me, they are so hospitable and kind to everyone that comes along. I absolutely loved spending my time there with them as I completed my dive master training in 2024 and my Instructor Go-Technical in 2025. Not only have I learned more about diving and the industry, I've also improved on my scuba skills and photography which they have encouraged me to continue to improve. I definately plan on heading back for more coral restoration and more courses :D
