With only just a 2hr drive from the Metro, you can have a safe, relaxing and adventure filled stay at Portulano! Special Bonus: They have really friendly staff, owners and their 2 resort labs, Snork and Bauer will win your heart.

I went to visit my students who were there for an artificial coral reef planting project. They could not have asked for a better dive resort. It was just perfect for what they wanted. Secluded. Safe. Accommodating. Kind. Patient. Quiet. Amazing views. Wonderful food. Comfortable rooms. Best staff and kindest owner. My only regret is not being able to dive with them but am seriously contemplating getting my diving certification here. Thank you, Portulano!

It is a absolutely wonderful place to learn how to dive safely, securely with a instructor that has patience and is supportive. The resort has a really great loved feel that's well maintained and very clean. Food was also good. Overall great experience. I highly recommend this place.
