A less touristy spot in the southeast of the island, but well worth seeing as it reveals a wilder part of the coast, with a beach that has a lot of charm and authenticity.
A nice beach, but only for kitesurfing. There's a lot of sargassum on the shore and in the water, which no one cleans up. There's a nice lawn for setting up kitesurfing gear. To kite, you need to go further from the shore or swim in the lagoon south of the beach. Kitesurfing conditions are excellent. At high tide, parts of the lagoon are only 10-15 cm deep.
Beautiful beach, well, not anymore because it's invaded by sargassum! A real scourge! You can't swim there, even walking on the beach is difficult because the smell of the sargassum is unbearable and toxic… some activities still continue though: beach bars, beach restaurants, beach soccer! What a shame!
