Playa del Carmen Diving Scuba Playa

I recently experienced the Discover Scuba Diving Course for first time divers. Our instructor, Carlos, impressed with knowledge of diving and excellent ability to share that knowledge during pool training. For the two afternoon dives, Carlos went beyond his normal duties to assist me. In my mid-60’s with lower back issues, I have a 20 lbs weight limit (9 kg). For the dives, I entered the water with no weight belt and no vest/tank. Carlos put these on me in the water and later removed them in the water so I could get in the boat. HIGH CUSTOMER SERVICE! Garcias, Carlos! The two dives were an experience of a lifetime with varieties of marine life, including a close encounter with a sea turtle. Amazing. We based our 14 dive trip from Scuba Playa. Our group were all Scuba Instructors with a lot of experience and with our own equipment. The dive guides, especially Carlos for local dives and the Bull Sharks but also Keko for Cozumel dives and Fabian for the Cenotes were excellent. The boat crew under Jorge, the Captain, were particularly friendly and professional! I would absolutely recommend diving with Scuba Playa.
