Pirates Diving Center

Great wreck dives! Tom our dive master was fantastic. Super safe, always checking on us, made sure we went down very slowly and everyone was okay equalising. I was a bit nervous entering the wrecks as it was my first wreck dive but Tom was great, checking on us the whole way and made me feel super comfortable with it all. Boat crew were great and the set up of the boat is really good too. Food for lunch was delicious and there was lots of it.

Had a wonderful time diving with Pirates, the whole team was super sweet, thorough and welcoming. Lunch on the boat was always great and a our instructor / divemaster Tom is an absolute champion! Knows all the wrecks and reefs here inside out, made us all feel super comfortable all the time, cracking jokes and having fun, absolute pleasure to dive with Tom and Pirates.

If you’re looking for a well setup and experienced crew, look no further than Pirates diving centre. The boat “The black revenge” was what caught my eye when researching for dive centres in Coron. The boat crew are excellent, welcoming and most importantly they take all their divers safety seriously. The dive boat was fully equipped with oxygen tank, plenty of drinking water and coffee, a spacious setup area, dining area at the back and a top deck with sun loungers and beanbags for those who just wants to lounge in the sun during surface intervals or long boat rides. I was diving with Pirates with my dive leader KUYA TOM who’s by far the best dive lead I had in my 23 years of diving around the world! I would like to consider him the Indiana Jones of coron wrecks because he knows the wrecks so well. The boat crew was excellent and the dive itinerary was catered to my needs. I dived for 6 days, all lead by Tom which I specifically asked the dive centre to arrange. He looks out for his divers and takes special care and notice on inexperienced divers and also experienced ones with lots of care and safety. I managed to cover 7 wrecks in my 6 days diving with Pirates. A big shoutout to el kapitan RJ for getting us out to the dive sites and back to shore safely even through the stormy weather, top chef Lolo, and the rest of the boat crew for making my diving experience so relaxing and enjoyable. The food on board was beyond what I could have imagined but Lolo is an amazing chef(he takes requests if you’re extra nice to him 😉. He cooks simple Filipino cuisine that tastes just like home. If you have the chance, take a sneak peek on how he prepares and cooks his delicious lunch on board the boat. If you’re an adventurer like me and would love to experience Filipino hospitality at its best, then this place is the one to be on your list. I didn’t miss Coron that much but I surely miss Kuya Tom and the rest of the boat crew. Till next time in the very near future. I’LL BE BACK!
