Earlier this year, January 2-8. our small group of five chose Pirate Scuba Diving Dive Shop for a week-long wreck diving trip, with two to three dives each day. A special thanks to our dive instructors, the Dexter brothers. They were both friendly and professional for being instructors. For example:The historical background of the wreck, its structure, and the overall dive plan were all explained in great detail. During the dives, we explored many marine creatures and wreck relics together, such as sea snakes, turtle skeletons, old-fashioned bicycles, sacks of rice, and more. We also fed catfish together at Barracuda Lake. On the final dive of the last day at Okikawa Maru, Instructor Dexter asked us to turn off our dive lights and look up ahead. I saw countless beams of light streaming in through the ship’s many circular windows. That moment was indescribably beautiful and serene, as if time had stopped—we became one with the ship. It was an unforgettable and excellent experience with them . We all had a wonderful great time ! Thanks Dexter brothers . Thanks Pirate Divers Busuanga team !

I went diving here on Christmas Day and had a great experience. Flora, the dive master, took us through some amazing WWII shipwrecks with ease and pointed out tons of cool nudibranches and shrimp along the way. For those looking to dive in the wrecks while you’re in Coron, the drive from town makes it much easier to reach the dive sites compared to shops right in town. I’d definitely recommend Pirate Divers for your next visit!

I just finished my advanced certification with flora. She was great. Locations were awesome given all the wrecks to dive in the area. I had originally planned on just doing a fun dive since that is what I have done on vacation for 30+ years. I’ve been fortunate to have done 100+ dives all over the world with just my PADI open water certification, but I decided to level up to advanced with the 5 dive 2 day course. I’m glad I did since I learned a ton from Flora as well as the PADI modules in the app that I thought were actually very well done. The dive shop runs a good routine had decent equipment and flora was great. Wrecks were super cool covered in coral and the other sites we dove were awesome. If you haven’t done training in a while consider leveling up to force a bit of refresher training. I’m certainly glad I did.
