Beautiful place to go snorkeling and watching the wildlife. You do not need a ticket. It's free to get in easy access in and out of the water off to dock when the tide is a little higher
A free place to snorkel on island Isabella in the Galapagos right beside the pier. Follow the signage past the quarantine building. Follow the boardwalk to platform at stairs at end. Watch for sea lions in mangroves. Can see tortuga 🐢 , eagle rays , puffer fish 🐡 angel fish 🐠 sea lions 🦭 coral🪸 shells🐚. Beautiful sheltered area. No beach right here but nearby. There is a hidden small channel of maybe 30 meters 2 meters wide and deep...ask or look to far right from pier where there is a boundary rope...look at the end of the rope to follow a deep rivulet or channel. Precious!
A little dock that serves as an entering point to a beautiful bay full of wildlife. Marine iguanas and sleeping sea lions will meet you at the dock, and in the water you will see a variety of fish and other sea creatures like molluscs, coral and sea turtles. You can feel the intensity of life itself in this area, it is a wonderful place.
