During my stay at Papua Paradise Eco Resort (January 2026) my personal diving wetsuit went missing from my diving equipment. When I reported the loss, the manager on duty (introduced only as Jordane) handled the situation in a very unprofessional manner. The issue was not escalated to senior management, I was not given updates, and no clear steps were taken to resolve the problem. When I asked about contacting the authorities to report the loss of my property, I was told I had no right to do so. The manager raised her voice at me and asked me to leave her office. I also requested an apology for the way I was treated, which I did not receive. This situation caused unnecessary stress and significantly affected the comfort of my stay. The lack of professionalism and the way a guest was treated in a situation involving lost personal property was very disappointing and below expected hospitality standards. Later did Mr. Arno Kilian assist professionally and provide documents needed for my insurance claim, which I appreciate. However, this support came after an avoidable and distressing experience. I was also unable to submit a formal complaint through official channels, as I was not provided with contact details for the hotel group management or the Human Resources department. Additionally, I have not been informed whether any action or consequences followed regarding the manager’s conduct.

We had a marvelous experience on our honeymoon. Highly recommended in every way. Raja Ampat is GORGEOUS. Definitely worth the trip. Highlights: 1. They gave us a bespoke experience. From the time staff took to get to know us to their recommended daily activities, they provided us 5 star service. 2. You’re able to scuba dive without a certification. Our guide was incredible and really made the experience the best it could be. And if diving isn’t your thing, the snorkeling is awesome! 3. Food was good! There’s some limitations given the location, but I enjoyed every meal. 4. Bar was excellent. 5. The island is gorgeous.

My first trip to Raja Ampat was simply magical! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had entered a paradise in the middle of nowhere. Our bungalow was so spacious and clean, and the staff were so friendly, kind and always smiling. We went on excursions almost every day, which were absolutely amazing. The food was good, although there wasn't much variety for those who don't eat meat. But that wasn't a big problem as I would have loved to stay much longer! A big thank you to Caroline, Rio and Nish. Highly recommended! A truly wonderful escape. Cheers!
