Panorama Diver Perhentian

Diving there was an amazing experience and highly recommended! One of the most beautiful dives ever! The staff and dive instructors are friendly, helpful, and always available for questions. But how can you include such a rundown accommodation in your package? The pictures on the website are absolutely misleading and do not reflect reality. The so-called “Panorama Chalet” was the worst accommodation of our entire Asia trip – and our standards are not high. Moldy pillows, cockroaches, a broken toilet flush, and a musty mold smell throughout the room. It gave us sleepless nights! We were allowed to switch rooms after complaining, but the second one was just as terrible. Since nothing else was available on short notice, we unfortunately had to leave the island earlier. At least I appreciate that you refunded the amount! * A small addendum: for this unprofessional and cheeky reply from the dive school, there’s another star deducted. The point is that what you are offering is absolutely harmful to health. We would have gladly paid a few euros more elsewhere instead of trusting you.

My husband and I went to Panorama Diver for our open water PADI scuba certification. It’s one of the cheapest dive certifications available, but this team does not skimp on a single step of the process. I had reached out to a few other dive shops, but Panorama got back to me promptly and with a ton of detailed information regarding availability, pricing and the process. We took our e-learning courses before and showed up ready for the diving. Free dorm accommodation and a roti breakfast are provided for the days you are diving, but we did upgrade to a single room with AC. Keep in mind the rooms are island basic and I would recommend bug spray. Great value for the price though. No WiFi is provided so top up on data ahead of time. Our course took three days and Jesse, an instructor from South Africa, couldn’t have been more thorough and patient with us. He is an amazing teacher and definitely the reason we felt confident in our skills by the end to truly relax and have fun. We got to dive at four different dive sites and had incredible visibility seeing clown fish, turtles, sharks and countless other colorful fish. If you are looking for five star diving and a wonderful, warm group of passionate divers and staff then panorama is for you.

It was my best experience of diving at Panorama diver, this place was recommended by friend. I did my Open Water course and we had amazing instructors, they are experienced and Lyn is so much fun 😀 If you do diving with them, dorm is included and it is with AC,and also breakfast. I’ve met nice people and vibe was great! I’m looking forward to come back and do more fun dives!
