I’ve been meaning to book a fun dive with Panglao Freediving Adventures for months, but I kept second-guessing myself and only ever ended up inquiring. When I finally pushed through, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made this year. Their rates are way more affordable compared to other freediving tour agencies and independent guides in Bohol, but the quality of the experience goes far beyond what you pay for. What surprised me most was how thoughtful the team was. It was the first time in my entire freediving life that a coach actually brought food to share with everyone. It sounds simple, yet it set the tone for a warm and welcoming session. MJ, the videographer, deserves his own paragraph. His skill and stamina are on a different level. There were three of us diving one after another and somehow he didn’t seem to run out of breath. He kept diving, kept shooting, and made sure we got clean, beautiful clips. He also guided us on poses and angles so every shot felt intentional. Super sulit ang bayad. He absolutely deserved the extra tip. Annie was equally wonderful. Friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure we got the most out of the dive. I was already preparing myself to go home without spotting the jacks, but she didn’t give up. Because of her persistence, we finally found them and it made my entire day. Another bucket list item checked.
