Ombak Dive Resort

It was my first diving experience and, believe it or not, I was panicking at the beginning. But my instructor Mohammad Najib Sakr made everything feel so easy and safe. Thanks to him, I managed to stay underwater for 15 minutes and came out safely. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Ombak Dive Resort is one of the hotel nearest to Coral jetty and has a path at the back to Long Beach on the other side of Perhentian Kecil. Checking in and out was a breeze and no fuss with super friendly staff on duty. The room was superb and has a mini fridge as well as a mini safe. Bath towels along with shower gel & shampoo is provided as well as a hair dryer plus mosquito vape mat. The bed was comfortable and has a mosquito net along with a ceiling fan and aircon. WiFi connection was also excellent. Power supply was from the generator with just a minute interruption during the changeover 3 times a day. My wife and I did just 2 morning dives as it is still early season with visibility still quite poor...around 3-5 meters. Nevertheless, we are happy to be back in the water for diving. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and will return again.

I had an absolute great time with Ombak Diving Center! My guide, Sam, was clear, polite, and absolutely great—he went the extra mile, really. The dive areas he took us to were incredible, with nice fish and beautiful coral. I also rented an underwater camera from the center, and Sam kept identifying all the good fish and coral so we could take great shots. Couldn't have asked for a better instructor or a more memorable dive. Highly recommend Ombak Diving Center!
