Thanks to Josh and Jerry, we had an absolutely unforgettable experience. We planned our freediving trip in Mallorca at the last minute and contacted dozens of diving centers, but either they were fully booked or never responded, the sea is very cold in February. Feeling disappointed, we reached out to Octopus just hoping we could at least go snorkeling. Even though it was late, they replied incredibly fast, which gave me a sense of hope when I was close to giving up. Just when we thought it wasn’t going to work out, we found not only availability but one of the best diving centers with truly amazing divers. We rented high-quality equipment, boarded the boat, and enjoyed the Mediterranean breeze and scenery before finally immersing ourselves in the beautiful sea. Jerry, the boat captain, constantly kept an eye on us while we were diving, carefully checking that everything was fine. Whenever any gear, like fins, came loose, he immediately let us know. At one point, my brand-new Insta360 sank to the bottom, but with Josh’s immediate help, we were able to recover it! I had previously lost a camera in the ocean last October, so having Josh as our guide felt incredibly reassuring. Everything was perfect, from the music selection to the snacks provided between dive spots. Soller was as stunning as its reputation, and if I ever return to Mallorca, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit Octopus again.
