Oceanic Dive Center Kata Beach Scuba Diving

Incredible dive centre - everything was brilliantly well run, right from the time you make a booking. Diving is extremely oversubscribed in Phuket and most dive centres play a numbers game and pack their boats full of people, making for a very uncomfortable day out. Oceanic use one of the best dive boats I’ve ever been on, ensure that it’s not too crowded (~10-12 on my boat) and keep a really good ratio of guides to divers. You feel very well taken care of on board - plenty of drinks (including a bean to cup coffee machine), fresh fruit and a lovely hot Thai lunch. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience - if you’re diving in Phuket, make sure you go with Oceanic!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience with Oceanic Dive Center while completing our Advanced Open Water course. Rachel was an incredible instructor, and we learned so much from her. On the first day, we did two dives at Kata Beach Reef, and the other day three dives were part of a boat trip to three different sites: Koh Doc Mai, Shark Point, and the King Cruiser Wreck. We were so happy with Rachel’s teaching that we decided to join a boat trip the following day to Koh Racha Yai, absolutely amazing dives. We highly recommend choosing Oceanic for your diving sessions in Phuket.
