I stayed at Ocean View Tulamben Dive & Resort while taking my Open Water Diver certification with Wailino Dive, and it was a great base for diving in Tulamben. The resort area is very large, with around 20 cottages, two main buildings with multiple rooms, two swimming pools, and an on-site dive center. The layout feels spacious and relaxed, and they are also expanding the property, which shows ongoing development. One of the best parts is the easy shore access—the entry point is just about a 1-minute walk from the resort, making shore dives very convenient. The environment is quiet and dive-focused, perfect for resting between dives. Overall, a comfortable and practical place to stay for divers, especially if you’re diving the USAT Liberty wreck or doing a certification in Tulamben. Would recommend it for dive trips.

Made a stop here on my way to Menjangan on my bike trip, and it possibly was the worst decision as not only it ruined my trip but also gave me a Bali belly, thanks to the Nasi Goreng and the way it was made. I expected better from a resort of this level but alas I was disappointed. They may have a good hotel but their food is a complete disappointment and possibly unhygienic as well, something I have would advise anyone against.
