My boys and I recently did an excursion with Ocean Tours on our recent trip to the Mayan Riviera. We decided to go with the Sea Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour and I was a little “nervous” at first because I am terrified of the ocean …but our amazing tour guide (Vanessa) was amazing and set the whole group at ease immediately with her uplifting personality. She was very patient with my two kids (who are 7 and 9 years old) and had never snorkeled before. Despite doing two other excursions to Xcaret parks…this was HANDS DOWN the highlight of our entire trip! It was really important for my kids to see sea turtles (their late father’s favourite animal) and we saw six of them! This experience was a priceless memory for us. On top of the amazing tour, the photographer did a fantastic job capturing these special moments for our family. As a mom, I’m always the one on the other side of the camera…so it was great to be included in photos with my kids. I will recommend this tour company to anyone. Next time we go to Mexico , we will be going on another tour with them for sure. Again: special shout out to Vanessa. She is an amazing person and the company is so lucky to have her. The driver (I think her name was Jessica) and the photographer were also fantastic.

We took the tour to Tulum, Akumal and Cenote. It was a sunny day on the 27.02.26 and we had a small, funny, little German Group. Our tour guide Romina was very kind, very caring and always in a good mood. I would not have the patience with tourists but she made it seem very easy. The transportation was always on time and we didn't have to wait for anything. They provided us with water and little snacks so the mood didnt drop. Of course if you are doing tourist-stuff you have to expect a lot of other people there too, but it still didn't feel to crowded. It was an amazing feeling swimming with those beautiful turtles and seeing some of the sea wildlife. The ruins were interesting as well and the cenote was absolutely beautiful and refreshing.😍 Our driver Sergio was funny as well and put some good music on in the bus. He also was looking out for everyone and without him I would have lost my shoes too.😂 They offer to take pictures of you during the trip and while snorkeling - at first I was skeptical bc I thought it I will look absolutely stupid but Rodrigo the photographer did a good job as well. And the end of the tour you can look at the pictures and buy the package for your group if you like. He real quickly send them out so we were able to look at them over dinner back at our hotel again. All in all I would recommend this trip if you're interested in a bit of culture and nature and want to be guided and not habe to organize anything yourself, so you can just relax 😁
