I've used other shops on the Big Island, but since I started with Ocean Spirit, I've been using them every year! While there are many aggressive shops in resorts that ignore safety, this shop prioritizes safety and is full of hospitality, so everyone from beginners to veterans can dive with peace of mind. Of course, the introductory dives are also friendly and thorough, and I think you'll have a great time even if you board with a cardholder.

I obtained my certification at this shop during my three-month stay on the Big Island of Hawaii. I was very pleased with the attentive service from the staff; it was incredibly helpful! I have vivid memories of the blue water diving, where I experienced the incredible clarity of the ocean—something rarely seen in Japan—and the night dive on the boat ride back, where I saw countless stars and even glowing plankton.
