Nyande Raja Ampat Dive Resort

Nyande is a fantastic location to enjoy a Raja Ampat dive or snorkelling holiday. It's centrally located to many of the key dive and snorkelling sites, including Manta Sandy, and you can comfortably do day trips to Piaynemo and Gam. Critically, their boats and staff are great. We felt safe every day. Do your research - not all places will have twin-engine boats with sun protection, and provide dedicated snorkel and dive guides to make sure you get to the right locations and don't get into trouble with the strong currents. The guides always knew where to go, and how to guage the currents before we got in the water. The resort is just beautiful, and the snorkelling off the house jetty was great - there's an overly enthusiastic lionfish that just loves having it's photo taken.

I stayed with Esni and Andy in October 2025, and I still dream about that wonderful vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nyande. The resort is beautiful and very well equipped. The food was also fabulous and extremely varied. Nyande is great for diving because it is located in an area with many beautiful dive sites. In addition, the dive master is an absolute professional with a lot of experience, and we felt very safe and well looked after at all times. I really hope that I can come back again someday.

I wish it was possible to give more than 5 stars for Nyande. Our stay was simply perfect. Huge thanks to Andy, Esni, all of the staff, the snorkel/dive guides, the boat crews and last but not least my favourite dive instructor in the world, Freddie. We will never forget our time in Raja Ampat and our amazing time at Nyande.
