I had a fantastic experience with Nomad Experience in La Ventana (El Sargento). Jose helped me choose the right wingfoiling gear, and it’s very convenient to be able to swap equipment as conditions change & as I progress. During one downwinder, I stopped to grab a smaller board and unfortunately stepped on a sea urchin… nine spikes in my foot! I hobbled over and Jorge immediately took care of everything. He made sure I was okay, let me use his phone, offered to take me to the doctor, retrieved my gear, found me a huge comfy pillow to lie on, gave me the right amount of sympathy, and even tracked down prescription glasses so I could clearly see the punctures and have glasses for my doctor visit. Nomad is professional, attentive, genuinely kind, a super location right on the beach, and very fairly priced. I highly recommend Nomad and would absolutely rent from them again.
Nomad Experience is my go-to kite center in the La Ventana area. I prefer the beach at La Tuna- I find people there to be a bit more understanding of beginners and less intense than Playa Central. Jose and his team at Nomad Experience are …
I had a wonderful time windsurfing in La Ventana. It was a surprise trip organized by my wife for my 60th birthday. We stayed at the great Todo Bien resort, which does not rent equipment. But my wife had contacted Jose Hita from the Nomad Experience Kite & Wing Foiling School before our trip, and promised me that he will deliver the equipment that I need to Todo Bien. I was initially skeptical because I thought I would only get an old board and one set of sails, which may not work for all conditions. But I was completely wrong. Jose delivered top-notch and new equipment from Severne (see photo), including 3 sails, 3 skinny masts, and a board with the specs that I wanted (Dyno wave board with 115 liter). At the end of the first day, one of the harness lines ripped and Jose delivered a replacement early the next day before the start of the wind. So I had everything I could ask for, a stay at a beautiful place, great windsurfing gear, and good wind for the entire time of our stay. I highly recommend Nomad Experience.
