I had a great experience at No Fear Diving, such a welcoming environment and everyone was so friendly - would highly recommend! I had very little diving experience and did my open water with RAID. Teresa, my instructor, was so knowledgeable and helpful and made me feel so comfortable and secure from the get-go. Right from our first dive, we were out in the sea, and got to see some cool fish and even a turtle. It was such a personalised experience, and you can really tailor it to your own learning pace and style. Huge thank you to the whole No Fear team, was such a great experience and has got me hooked on diving!

I did my OWD here and it was the best decision. After a previous bad experience with another dive centre, I was harbouring a lot of anxiety, but the team here was excellent. They offer great customer service, a very personable approach, and seamless, adaptive organisation. A big shout out to my phenomenal instructor, Marko. He was so calm and patient with me, which helped me finally relax and conquer my fear. I felt safe and comfortable while drilling the skills; he cheered all my little underwater victories and made each dive enjoyable. I immediately booked an extra fun dive, and if I had more time, I would have definitely done my AOWD too. If you are an anxious diver, look no further—they truly live up to their name.

When environmental factors forced us to cancel our planned Komodo liveaboard at the final hour, our organizers, Tim and Rick had to pivot fast to save our TOCO Fam holiday. We decided as a group to head to Bali; to Amed Beach, where Rick had worked with the owners of No Fear Diving to help us save our holiday and move it to land based scuba diving; thinking of it as a "consolation prize." How wrong we were. From the moment we arrived, we wern’t just guests; we were folded into the incredible culture that Tom and Amanda have championed with their team. They live by a simple but profound philosophy: Come as friends, leave as family…. Sound familiar? What makes No Fear Diving truly exceptional is that the Thai Ocean Academy (TOCO) philosophy exists here, vibrantly alive, outside of TOCO itself. That kind of continuity and soul is a rarity indeed, and it’s a testament to the community they've built. The Magic of the Experience Our adventure kicked off with a night dive straight after the road trip from the airport. Diving into that sparkling black sand for the first time was surreal. We encountered elusive frogfish and the iconic "Shaun the Sheep" nudibranchs, baby boxfish; and that was just the beginning. • Epic Diving: We experienced some of the best dives of our lives, packed with hilarious moments that will live forever in my memory. • Unmatched Hospitality: The owners and their team gave their absolute all to ensure every second was unforgettable. • A True Connection: There is no way a liveaboard could have matched the warmth and community we felt here. The diving was, in a word, legendary. We managed to sneak in a cheeky tec dive with local legend Turk Diggler from Prana Dive Centre in a ripping current that resulted in some safe but absolutely hilarious moments I’ll never forget. We capped off the trip with a group dive at an epic little spot in just 3 meters of water. We spent 90 minutes submerged in a macro wonderland, encountering: • Seahorses and "Shaun the Sheep" nudis • Frogfish and Leaf Scorpionfish • Harlequin Shrimps and Harlequin Sweetlips • A Green Sea Turtle (Danny’s way of saying G’day; if you know, you know!) The absolute highlight for me, however, was an epic 90-minute DPV run. Cruising the depths "powered up" alongside Tom was the ultimate way to experience the blue. Giving Back to the Family Beyond the diving, I was incredibly humbled to share my passion for cinematography. Being able to run two workshops for the entire No Fear Diving team was my small way of giving back to a crew that gave us so much of their heart and soul this week. A Heartfelt Thank You Words truly cannot express how grateful I am from the bottom of my heart. I feel completely refreshed. What started as a backup plan became a legendary week of "hanging with family" that I wouldn't trade for anything.
