Nitro Dive Center

This was my first diving experience and it was absolutely perfect. I had my Initial open water course with Nicolas "Nico" He was awesome to be with. He was very clear in his explanations, but still had time to be witty and make it a great experience. I later had two fun dives with Lilian another great experience. I had a little problem with my equalization of my ears, but Lilian was very patient and reassuring. All around great place with great people.

This was absolutely one of the very best experiences of my life. Nitro is a fantastic dive school with highly skilled, well-trained instructors. Our instructor, Nico, was absolutely amazing. In a very professional way, he trained our small group (3 people) to become Open Water divers. Nico is a great instructor with a hilarious personality. These were 3 days of pure enjoyment, and I recommend everyone to join the Nitro family. Thank you, Nico - best instructor of Koh Tao!!!

Just finished my open water and advanced open water with Nitro and I couldn’t recommend it enough. All of the instructors/staff at the centre are friendly, chatty and incredibly knowledgable and made the theory side of the training really enjoyable. The centre really feels like one big family with everyone recognising each other from the previous days and all getting on really well. The Spanish music that comes on just before you leave for your dive is also a great touch! Our instructor Ivo was amazing. Ridiculously knowledgable and skilful but also very patient with us as a couple of complete beginners. I really appreciated that he kept adding extra bits of info/skills that weren’t technically on the course but would be useful for future dives. Ivo made the whole experience super relaxed and comfortable while keeping the training challenging at the same time. I enjoyed the open water course so much that I booked my advanced to start the day after. I was paired up with Ivo again for the advanced and it was another incredible experience. A bit more difficult in terms of the training but his way of getting the information across ensured I was constantly learning and putting the skills into practice. The deep dive and the night dive were just incredible experiences and the fact I can now go deeper on recreational dives is something I’m looking forward to utilising for the rest of my travels. On an island with so many diving schools it initially felt tough to choose one but Nitro stood out due to the great reviews and fair price. A massive thank you to all of the team for the most incredible experience!
