Neco Marine Palau

Had Sharon as my diving instructor and she was amazing! She was patient, kind and explained everything so well. Best instructor I've had to date! Beautiful dive sites. Friendly team. Highly recommended.

Koror city tour was a complete waste of time and money! I am not going to mince words; this was one of the worst tours I have ever been on. We came to Palau to do some Scuba Diving and chose to go on a city tour with one of our days. The tour was supposed to be four hours, but instead was only two. It was one of the worst tours I have ever been on. Our guide was very hard to understand, and did almost nothing in the way of telling us about things we were seeing. Occasionally, he spoke to the people at the very front of the minivan, but never to the entire group. He took us to the Japanese Friendship Bridge, where we got out and took photos. Then he took us to a small bay. Nothing at all was going on there, but apparently people can swim there. We got out and looked at it, but there was really nothing to it and I didn’t take any pictures. Then he took us to a museum in town, which was good. But the $10 admission was not even included in the $55 price of the tour! This was the only interesting part of the tour and we could’ve walked there from our hotel. Someone in our group asked about seeing World War II history so he drove us to the national museum and we got out and looked at a few relics that are outside the property and at the Bai house there. He was not planning to take us there and only did so as someone asked about history. Next we went to what he said was going to be a lookout to see the different bridges that connect the islands, but the view was greatly interrupted by trees and buildings because it wasn’t really high enough. This “view” was from the parking lot of a hotel. I didn’t even take any pictures. Finally, we stopped at the edge of the water. And that was it. These stops don’t make a true “tour”. Very disappointing!!

I did 6 days of diving with Neco Marine in April 2025 and they were excellent. Very personalised service, great boats, wonderful crew and office staff, fantastic diving. Clayton, Daniel and Frasier were excellent guides and skipper, and a couple of times I had the boat to myself or just one other and had the wonderful experience of diving with Mandy, who was very generous with her knowledge, and diving some less traversed sites. I loved it so much I'm going back in November with half my family and some friends. Thanks Neco Marine team! 🫶👌
