Native Sons Dive Shop

Native Sons Dive Shop is fantastic. I did my Open Water certification in November with Alex and he was truly the best. He was incredibly patient, calm, and made me feel completely safe throughout the entire training. I have very sensitive ears, and Alex stayed right with me, clocked my hand signals and let me descend very slowly, answered all my questions, and really listened whenever I felt anxious. He was super patient with me during the skills portion and made sure I got to repeat any that I wasn't sure about. One of the highlights was when Alex pointed out a turtle during an open water dive. I got to watch it swim up to the surface with little fish clinging to its belly, which made me so happy. I’d highly recommend Native Sons for certification and fun dives. I stayed at Hotel Chilies (which was also great!), which is connected to the dive shop, and it was amazing to be able to roll out of bed and head straight to diving. Everyone I met, from the divers to the dive shop and hotel staff, was awesome.
