MTD Diveshop

Coordinated with this dive shop for our Malapascua dives. We were a party of 7 people. Transfers from the city were pleasant and reasonably priced. The shop was quite maintained and dives among groups were organized. I hear they’re among the more famous shops in Malapascua. They also had a restaurant which served good food and had a selection of drinks. Diving Pros: Had gcash for payments. Staff were kind, accommodating and very very caring of us divers during our time underwater. They also were good spotters and found lots of sea creatures and critters for us to enjoy. They were also quick to change our tanks during SIT. Food was also good and portions were generous during SIT. Cons: Staff could be more prompt during call times and more proactive with gear care. One dive I found that my tank was not fully opened early into our dive which I had to troubleshoot at depth. One time they also forgot to load our nitrox tanks which led us to leaving later than scheduled. Also, location relative to other resorts is a bit far from the livelier center of the beach. Overall: Pleased with our stay still! Thankful for safe dives and kind staff.

Great dive company on Malapascua Island. We did 9 dives with them whilst staying there. Thresher sharks twice, Tiger shark dive, Gatton x 3 dives and local sights with 1 night dive to see the Manadrin fish. We had Asta as our guide mostly and Tong as well for Gato Island. Well organised. We organised lunch which was plentiful and delicious. On our trip to Gato, they had a watering can of fresh water to wash your face when you get out and hot towells for your face. Luxury! Highly recommend this company if your diving Malapascua.

I just completed my Advanced Open Water course here and I can’t recommend them enough! Mr. Tong was an incredible instructor—the course was so well taught, and I’ve never felt safer underwater than I did diving with him. The Thresher Shark dives were an absolute dream and a truly amazing experience shared with great people. The boats are top-notch, the food tastes amazing, and the entire MTD team is simply the best. The scuba diving equipment Is well maintained. 100% recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for everything—I’ll definitely be back! 🦈⚓️✨
