Nice location. They rent by hour so a nice choice. Typically I would rent from KBS if I am going for longer than 7 days. Don't rent the garbage boards on the beach. Its worth the walk up a block to get a quality board
The 2:1 lesson with Juliet was so much fun. I was worried because there were some bad reviews, but I was impressed by the surprisingly kind staff and service. Unlike the visit a few years ago, there was a cart that carried boards to the …
I went with my cousin to Moku Hawaii so she could rent a surfboard for the day. She had also rented one from them the day before and wanted to return because of the great experience she had. According to her, Moku Hawaii stands out among other local surfboard rental spots. She felt they offered a better selection and had more knowledgeable staff compared to many of the beachside rental options, which she said seemed more geared toward beginners. The staff here were friendly, helpful, and clearly cared about making sure customers had the right setup for their skill level and needs. One really thoughtful service they offer is holding onto your personal belongings while you’re out in the water, so you can enjoy your surf session without worrying about leaving anything valuable behind. If you’re just starting out with surfing, this is a great place to go — the staff will take the time to guide you and help you get comfortable. If you’re a more experienced surfer, Moku Hawaii is definitely the place to find the right board and setup for you. I’m not a surfer myself, but based on my cousin’s experience and what I observed, she couldn’t have been happier with Moku Hawaii. Highly recommended.
