Mikumba Diving

I did the South (Misool) and Central Raja Ampat trip with Mikumba Diving on the Jelajahi Laut for 10D/9N. The experience exceeded all my expectations and it turned out to be the best trip of my life. The boat carried 12 guests and 15 crew members including dive instructor, dive guides, chef, housekeeping staff, boat men, engineers etc. What stood out the most to me was that the entire crew had a common goal - to give the guests an experience of their lifetime. Every member of the crew played their role to perfection. Our Cruise Director, Abda was extremely professional. His briefings were crystal clear, and always transparent. He was under pressure to secure permissions from the Eco resort for a few dive sites, and he managed to secure them in time. His scheduling, route planning and timing were simply perfect. The dive guides, Kris, Hanzo, and Hawe were amazing. They truly cared for the guests and by diving with them, you will know how much they care about the oceans and marine environment. Mikumba Diving is the epitome of diving responsibly and protecting the marine life. There was also a separate snorkeling guide, Rifal for the snorkeler guests onboard. The meals prepared by chef Burhan were nothing short of gourmet food. Every guest's dietary preferences and restrictions were catered for. There was a small breakfast, big breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner on every day. The meals had a mix of multiple international and local cuisines. Everything from the presentation to taste was top notch. The crew even baked a special cake and delivered a jaw dropping musical performance on Valentines' Day, which was very special. There was also a top deck dinner which was truly magical. The choice of music played onboard before every dive was tailored to the theme of the dive and time of day. The land excursions to Balbulol, Piaynemo view point, jellyfish lake and Arborek island were among my favourite parts of the trip. And finally - Saldi, Eileen, and the rest of the crew, thank you for a memorable trip. I'll look forward to diving with Mikumba Diving in the near future. It's been a true pleasure.

I had an amazing trip on the Nusantara with Mikumba Diving in 12/2025. It is an extremely professionally run business and they extremely experienced dive masters. In fact, the entire crew on board were efficient, friendly, hrlpful and they truly made the trip special. The boat was more than I expected for the price point as we as the food, and then there was the wildlife! The Komodo islands are absolutely the best place I've ever dove. We saw so many fish, manta, turtles & sharks, macro and micro, and we were blessed with good conditions even though it is supposed to be the rainy season. I would not hesitate to take this trip again! And I highly recommend it for beginners and experienced divers alike. Special thank you to Kris & Iito our dive guides, they are beyond experienced, calm, and they really know what to look for and where to find it!

Excellent Cruise with Mikumba Divine company, saling in Nusantara boat. We left for a 4D/3N trip with 4 other people. Yes, this company leaves even if the boat is not full and that's very appreciated. Members of staff are SO friendly and very helpful, Even Fian the trainee on the boat, so smilling and generous. We had two guides : Kris & Rian. They always asked how we felt on the boat, what we like to do and to see and tried their very best to show us marine life under water remaining very respectful of the corals all the time. I always felt safe during the dive thanks the us and the fact that they took the time before each dive to brief us about the depth, current, topography of the site. It's game changer especially when you dive 12x! We loved the expérience, I would recommend to anyone that crew. Even the food was nos nice (fresh fish with soy sauce - delicious)
