Amazing dive shop and an unforgettable experience! The people here are super friendly and the whole atmosphere is really chill and fun. The dives were absolutely amazing …

5 stars guys! Thanks to Maki, Natsu, Goki, Yuji for being our guides and Bernard for being such a smiley chatty guy even though we didn’t dive with you! We dived with another company before Mikomoto Hammers as they were booked out, and Mikomoto Hammers despite their small boat (they are getting a big upgrade in September), were the warmest and had the best equipment and facilities. The new dive centre was swanky with everything you need, courteous staff, lots of showers (was a 50:50 ratio of men to women divers), boat with non slip footing… And most importantly, MH had the first slot out into sea which meant we could dive in the valley of A Point and we saw the most amazing shows of hammerheads. Top marks to the dive guides for knowing where is the best place to view them and understanding the current etc and keeping us safe. SEE YOU GUYS AGAIN SOON XX

Nicely located at the southern end of Izu, this is a foreigner friendly dive center that specialises in Mikomoto Hammerhead diving. Up to three dives in the low season, and up to four dives in the high season, as long as the weather allows you can dive with Hammerheads Sharks everyday! They have convenient parking on site, Japanese guesthouse to accommodate divers, rental services, even restaurants and a combini within walking distance. Diving services are efficient like clockwork from online checking in, briefing during breakfast in the comfy lounge, load up, short drive to the pier and only a 15 minutes ride to the dive site. Definitely worth coming back again and again!
