We had a good time on our 4-hour boat tour with Mexico Divers, but it was not quite as it had been explained to me when booking. We expected to visit three snorkel sites, but only visited one. We had also been told that beers were included, but when we asked for them our guide Carlos said he didn't have any. We ended up buying some from a local restaurant during the experience, and only after watching us order and pay for these did Carlos radio a teammate and have some brought over to the boat, which seemed a bit odd. Also, the ceviche was just a frozen packet of prawns. Surely it can’t be difficult to get a fresh fish on an island? Having said that, Carlos was a great, energetic guide and we enjoyed the day overall.
We had a great dive trip with Mexico Divers and Silvana! We ended up with just us in the boat and got to talk through our dive sites and pick the best one for us. Lots of life and a fun easy dive! Definitely a great company to go with if you’re looking to go off Island Mujeres. Plan to arrive 30 mins early and check the ferry schedules to make sure you’re on time.
Great water taxi service and the ideal way to get to Isla Mujeres (and back) from Cancun. Easy to book, outstanding service, and Selene was awesome with the communication and coordination!
