Merman Diving Mauritius

I recently completed my scuba diving certification at this wonderful dive center and it was an experience I will never forget. The center is run by a local family, which gives it a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the very beginning. Throughout the entire course, I always felt completely safe, even coming with no experience at all. The instructor was highly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood the theory as well as the practical skills during each dive. It was an exceptional experience, one that I will carry with me for a long time. I can wholeheartedly recommend this dive center to anyone looking to get their scuba certification. 💙

We absolutely ADORED diving at Merman! Truly the best place we’ve found in Mauritius, and we’ve been here for 5 weeks. The shop is run by a father and two sons (a proper family business) and is the friendliest place I’ve ever dived. We did several dives with them, and the visibility in the north of the island is amazing (much better than south or west coast) - on the corals right outside the bay, we saw reef sharks, turtles, lion fish, stone fish, shrimp, hundreds of morays and lots of other tropical fish. The team went above and beyond, even offering to take us out on the boat on NYE so we could watch all the fireworks from the bay - a magic, unforgettable experience. Would recommend them to anyone, and will certainly be diving with them if we return. Thanks for everything :)
