All the stuff is nice 😊 Always smiling, singing and willing to help…🫶🏾 we stayed 4 days, we had different menu every day and the food amazing! delicious 🤤. Amazing portions, amazing flavor, and fresh fruit. 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 don’t expect silence and tranquility, you are in the main village.

Not very friendly,you can t do anything with other people in town . If you stay there you have to do everything with them . If you don t they dont treat you nicely anymore. Dive with them but stay in.some homestay in the village (cheaper and good for the people in the village)

In my books this is a 5+ star dive resort. We are here to dive and dive we did. This Padi Resort fitted all of our needs: 1) excellent location - right on the beach with our dive boats 4 meters away. Absolutely stunning sunrises from the open restaurant. 2) delicious food - all meals are included with the booking and the meals are hands down the best I've had since being in Indonesia these past 3 weeks. They catch the fish fresh daily and it's prepared by an outstanding cook. I'm not one to have a 2nd plate, but whoa I'm eating 2nds and 3rds here. (Thank God I'm active) 3) Main Staff - we fell in love with all the girls at the resort. Their bubbly personalities, their friendly smiles and their constant singing made us feel at home. (everyone sings on the island...how cool is that!) There was nothing we lacked in the 5 days we were here. And if you want a massage, they will organize for a therapist to come to your room. 4) Rooms - rooms are comfortable and mostly on the 2nd floor but the stairs have double railings and are easy to climb. (My dive buddy has problem with his knees but managed them quite nicely) The AC in the room works well and the beds are comfy. 5) Diving - the diving was fabulous. Lots to see but please keep in mind this is mostly wall dives which we were quite happy with. There is current but we follow the current. Lots & lots of marine life; turtles being predominantly the largest. On one dive we stopped counting turtles at 50! I kid you not. We did 11 dives in 3 days and it was brilliant. 6) Dive Staff - Let's talk about the dive staff. This is a Padi Shop and they are representing the company well. Our DM, Leo was an excellent DM. Safety was always his concern and we dove our dives with nothing but confidence in our guide. We are experienced divers with over 4000 dives between us and we were very impressed. Every single dive was 60 min with the exception of night dives being 50 min. Our DM pointed out the small stuff and was extremely conscientious when coming to trash under the sea. He filled his pockets often with plastic and fishing lines. In saying this the waters around Bunaken are very clean with visibility around 15 + meters. The boat crew were irreplaceable. We had 2 different Captains and a deck hand named Yogi, who is becoming a DM himself. Everyone pitches in the assist the divers on and off the boat. Their attention to detail was excellent. Drinking water was served before and after each and every dive and hot coffee and tea, plus cookies and fruit were served on our surface interval. 7) Recommendation - If you are here to dive then do not look any further than MC Bunaken. (The MC are the initials of the owners) Like I said....in my books this is a 5 star dive resort for people who want to dive.
