I was in Nha Trang for the last week of January and I really wanted to go diving or snorkeling. I stopped by Mark's place to talk about it. He said, "I would love to take you out diving and I could use the business, but the visibility is poor this time of year so it would not be a fantastic experience for you. So I can't ethically take you out right now but would love to do it later in the year when the viability gets much better!" Most places I know would just take your money because there is always another sucker tourist around the corner, so I can't tell you how much I appreciate the honesty. I hope I can give some business next time I am here!

I have so far done two trips with Mark. First the diving certification course which I did with my wife. And second, the snorkeling trip with my mother. Both of these trips have been an absolute blast! If you are looking for a diving instructor who is genuinely in love with his job, and who makes sure that you will be self sufficiently safe in any situation, then look no further! Mark Scott is the man! Other diving instructors have mentioned that he is definitely a legend. And seeing how the others do their courses, it is easy to see why they say this. We learned how to fully set up and test our gear. We definitely felt like we were better prepared than the rest of the divers.
