Yes there are a lot of steps but it’s worth it! Great views from the top and if you decide to keep going the park is worthwhile hike. Even if you turn back from the top of the stairs you’ll have seen one of the very best views of Split.

This is the absolute best viewpoint in Split. The panoramic views of the old town, the red-tiled rooftops, and the vast Adriatic Sea are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. Reaching the top involves a fair amount of stairs, so be prepared for a bit of a workout, but the effort is completely worth it for the scenery. There’s a nice cafe at the top, so you can relax with a drink and soak in the incredible views after your climb. It’s free to access, which is a huge bonus.
