Maldives Legend

I’ve been diving for 20+ year in many different country, but my experience with Maldive Legend on the ZEN was on a whole different level. From the moment I inquired until we stepped off the boat, everything was handled with perfection. A huge shoutout to Bilal that made this trip possible, the booking process incredibly smooth, answering every question with patience and ensuring all our requirements were met. His professionalism set the tone for the entire trip. Our Dive Master, Yamin, is a legend in his own right. His knowledge of the local reefs and currents is unmatched. He has a calm, reassuring presence underwater and a "hawk eye" for spotting macro life and big fish that others might miss. He was also big part of our group outside the water always there to help, chat and laugh with us. The entire boat crew deserves a standing ovation. They are the hardest-working team I’ve met—always smiling, anticipating our needs before we even asked, and keeping the vessel in pristine condition. A special shout out to the chefs, we were blown away by high-quality, diverse, and delicious meals! Every meal was a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. If you are looking for a Maldives diving adventure that combines luxury, safety, and a "family" atmosphere, look no further than Maldive Legend. We look forward for the next trip with them!

Me and two friends had the luck to get on a liveaboard with Maldives Legend aboard the Zen, and it was nothing short of outstanding. From booking to disembarkation, the team delivered a seamless, joyful experience. Our main contact person, Bilal , was incredibly professional and personable from the start: prompt, clear, and thorough in answering all our questions and explaining exactly how things would work. He set expectations realistically and made sure we felt confident and prepared before we even stepped on board. His communication made the whole planning process stress-free. On the boat, our dive master Yamin was a highlight. Yamin’s knowledge of marine biodiversity is extraordinary — he could identify species on the spot and point out subtle signs that most of us would have missed. Underwater he guided us with confidence, tailoring each dive to the group’s skill level while always ensuring safety. The pre-dive briefings were consistently well organized and clear, which helped everyone feel prepared and relaxed before every dive. He made dives both educational and entertaining: he knew the best spots to find mantas, sharks, turtles, and macro wonders, and he had a great knack for helping everyone get the best views and photos without compromising the animals’ space. Equally importantly, Yamin brought great energy topside — joking, sharing stories, and creating a warm, communal atmosphere during downtime and evenings. He turned the trip from a series of excellent dives into a memorable shared adventure. The food on Zen deserves high praise as well. Meals were a delicious fusion of Maldivian flavors and continental dishes, and varied enough to keep every meal exciting. Our cabin was roomy and comfortable, with generous storage, a large washroom, and consistently hot water — everything you want after long dive days. The boat was well-maintained and clearly operated by people who care about guest comfort and safety. If you’re considering a Maldives liveaboard, I can’t recommend Maldives Legend on the Zen highly enough — especially if you want attentive service from people like Bilal, clear and organized pre-dive briefings, and an unforgettable diving experience guided by exceptional dive masters like Yamin. Five stars!!

Amazing experience with Maldives Legend. We were travelling in group and chartered Sea Pleasure recently. Very homey boat and superb service we were in touch with Sandy from the beginning and she is very responsive and warm. Also helped our guest with the delayed luggage until late night ensuring all arrived before the next day as we meed to start cruising. Dive team were amazing ..we had Ali as Cruise Director in charge and his team Dhanboa, Yamin, Zac, Shaphey. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience with the sharks, manta rays, whale sharks. We also has bbq dinner at Dhangeti island and the boat crew prepared whale shark made out of sand! Restaurant staff Samin also very friendly, and cabin is being cleaned couple times everyday! Overall we were very happy with the service and hoping to be able to be back again soon. All the best for Maldives Legend!
