Malapascua Legend Water Sports & Dive Resort

I recently stayed at this hotel during my diving trip. It was an ok experience. The hotel's beachfront location was convenience to go for a day trip. The room size was more than adequate for two people, with enough space to store our diving gear and belongings. It was a relief not to feel cramped. However, it's important to note that the hotel is quite old, and this was evident in the room's overall condition. While it wasn't spotless, it was still clean enough to be comfortable for our stay. One major drawback was the unstable electricity. Unfortunately, the power went off in the middle of the night on our first night, which was quite inconvenient. Being on an island, I understand that such issues can arise, but it would have been helpful if the hotel had a backup generator or a more efficient system in place to minimize disruptions. As mentioned earlier, the room wasn't spotless, but it wasn't excessively dirty either. It could benefit from more thorough cleaning and attention to detail. However, it was still manageable, and we didn't feel the need to request a room change. The hotel staff were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests we had. Their warm and welcoming attitude made us feel valued as guests.

The front desk staff was very friendly and provided excellent service✨ The hotel is also conveniently located near our dive center. Having an in-house restaurant made everything even more convenient.

Bad experiences. Worst place I had ever stayed at. No Fresh water for showers, AC unit is super high that I was unable to sleep well. I had to switch rooms 3 times. Poor shower system, roaches in the room with a nest at the bathroom door frame. Old, super dusty decorations.
