Mako Diving Komodo

We had such an incredible dive trip with Mako Dive. Everything was extremely well organised and handled professionally which made us feel comfortable and safe. The boat was well equipped with everything you needed including a kitchen area, toilet, shower, and nice cushioned rest areas. All the dive equipment was also new and of high quality which as a nice treat for us. The staff gave us luxury treatment assisting us with all our gear and equipment and lunch & snacks were incredibly tastey and there was more than enough to go around. When they ran out of pancakes, the chef quickly cooked up more for everyone! Yohanes was an incredible dive guide who throughly explained the briefings and what to expect underwater and was very patient and understanding when we experienced some challenges with the current. Easily one of the best companies we have dived with, not to mention ALL the incredible wild life we seen and all the video footage Yohannes captured for us! Thank you so much!

I rarely leave Google reviews, but this experience truly deserves one. I did my Advanced with Santi and the Mako team, and I can honestly say I have rarely seen a dive center like this. Beyond being extremely professional, this team is incredibly caring, funny, human, and deeply passionate about what they do. With Santi as an instructor, you don’t just learn skills or follow theory, you learn from someone who truly lives and breathes diving. He has this rare ability to make you feel safe, confident, and supported at any depth, while keeping everything light, enjoyable, and full of laughter. The trust he creates underwater is priceless. 👊🏼 If you’re looking for a dive agency that combines top-level professionalism with warmth, humor, and soul, I cannot recommend Mako enough. An incredible experience! I loved every moment. The whole team is super welcoming and you feel great from the very first day. I did my Open Water with Thomas — an amazing instructor, very patient, kind, and great at teaching. Thanks to him, I gained confidence and had an amazing time underwater.
