Mafia Island Diving

We had an awesome experience with Mafia Island Diving! I did 12 dives with them and they were all great. The guides were fantastic, really experienced and helpful and made sure we had the best experience. We also felt really safe, the briefings are great and all the gear is very well maintained and high quality. The traditional wooden boats are really comfortable too, very spacious and it was fun to sail back back to shore. After the dives we could hang out at the dive centre and look through the books what we saw. The team there is super friendly and fun and they really give a family feeling to the place. I couldn’t recommend this dive centre highly enough!!! Thank you for the best time!

We had an amazing snorkeling trip with Mafia Island Diving Center. My husband and I joined a small group of just seven people on a traditional dhow called Pole Pole, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal. The weather was beautiful and the waters were calm. After a 30-minute boat ride, we reached our first snorkel spot. We had two guides in the water with us, and they were fantastic. They pointed out so many smaller marine creatures we would have easily missed — including stonefish, eels, nudibranch and spotted rays hiding under the rocks. On the boat, we enjoyed delicious ginger tea and fresh coconut, which was such a lovely touch. The guides were caring, helpful, and very friendly throughout the trip. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Mafia Island! Big thanks to Danii, David and team 🌊🐠🥥
