Madeira Diving Center

The guides were extremely experienced and genuinely friendly. The water temperature was around 20 °C, so a bit chilly, but my 5.3 mm full wetsuit kept me comfortable for about 45 minutes of the dive. The dive site Pedra D’Eira was absolutely stunning—one of the most beautiful dives I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. We encountered three rays and a turtle that seemed to enjoy our company, and we ended up staying underwater for over 60 minutes. 😍 We travelled between the dive sites comfortably by van, which also gave us the chance to see parts of the island—a bit of sightseeing included. I highly recommend this dive center. I have no complaints at all.

This week we did our first two dives in the sea with Felix and Carlota and felt completely safe and well looked after. Everything went smoothly. We dived at an easier place, which was nonetheless spectacular. Debby the ray was so tame that we could "play" with her and pet her. For a small amount we also booked a video recording and on the same day we got a short video of the dive with all the spots and hot spots - such a great idea and a great that stays forever. Next time we're on Madeira, we'll definitely contact them again, hoping to see the turtle or the seals next time! Highly recommended, whether you speak Portuguese, German, or English - no matter if you are beginner or advanced level!
