Mabuhay Thresher Dive Center

My partner and I dived 5 times with Mabuhay. We can only say it was exceptional from beginning to end. Christine, the secretary, was the most helpful person ever. She helped us organise everything, from diving to local adventures. She helped us to tailor everything to our own specific needs. She is invaluable to this little island. Thank you Christine, Dom, and our divemaster for all you did for us. Philippino people are known for being great, but they are the best.

We stayed at blue corals and decided to go with Mabuhay Dive Resort for our fun dives. Their fun dives were affordable, we paid 4500 pesos for 3 dives per pax including breakfast and lunch! We ended up going to 6 dives in total, 2 at Kimud Shoal, 1 at Monad Shoal and 2 at Gato Island and 1 night dive. The experience was wonderful and the thresher shark came up very close to us and the corals were absolutely beautiful. Our divemasters were wonderful as well and if we were to come back to Malapascau, I would definitely use this company again!

My husband and I did our thresher shark dive and gato island dive with this dive center. We had the best time with our guide, Ken. He was very knowledgeable of the whole area. We saw 9-10 sharks between our two thresher shark dives and I chalk that up to how much he understands them. He also found us lots of little sea creatures and a shark around Gato Island. My husband and I had wandered around Malapascua looking for a dive shop that fit our needs and I can attest that this dive shop was far more affordable than most of the other dive centers and even included a delicious(freshly prepared) lunch. We did a total of 6 dives with this company and loved it and the value.
