Lost Reef Adventures

Paid for 2 snorkel excursions. They sized my husband for a wetsuit in the office, let us PAY ($160, might I add...) for 2 excursions, then waited until the boat had already taken off to inform us that he could not snorkel. So, he sat on the boat for 5 hours. Extreme waste of time on our very short trip. Neither of us would have gone had they explained that he won't be allowed off the boat BEFORE it had left (and before letting us pay them....) They said they would give us a refund (without us even asking). They didn't. Went back to the shop to ask if they were planning on refunding us. The super rude man in the shop said he'll "check on it" without ever asking my contact information, name, phone number... anything. So he obviously had no intention of being helpful. Never heard anything back. Furthermore, we booked with this company because my brother had very specific intentions while diving. He called multiple times before the trip to confirm this would be possible, each time they said yes. When we were 50 miles in the middle of the ocean, they said they didn't know what he was talking about, they weren't made aware of his intentions. We had another charter we were in communication with and planning on booking, and all wish we would have gone with them instead.

My husband and I dove with these awesome people most of our stay. We dove the Vandenberg and several reefs with them and had a fantastic experience. The dive staff were wonderful and friendly and the boat captain made sure to help us see some cool stuff! We ended up seeing stingray, moray eel, spiny lobster and a shark! And a ton of beautiful fish of course. I would definitely dive with them again and can't wait to come back!
