Lombok Eco Dive Resort

A quick and easy day of diving. They made us feel welcome and comfortable, tried very hard to accommodate our schedule. I messaged the day before we arrived and they made it easy for us to get picked up, got our gear, went diving for the day, and drove us back to the pier. We didn't have a change room before the dive, my daughter a 13yo had to change in the car, which is not a big deal but not ideal either. Overall the diving was great, we went at a bad time of year so the vis was not great but that's no fault of these guys. Maybe theres more to the services than what we seen on a quick day in Lombok, but calling it a resort is a stretch. Overall the dive master, even with limited English, was very friendly and was a very competent diver. We felt comfortable and well taken care of all day. Overall, the price was fair, the service was good and the diving was fantastic. It's a bit rough around the edges, but I would come back again. The owner said it's a growing business so I wish him the best of luck and hope he does good.

I did my SSI advanced adventurer course with Lombok Eco Dive Resort in Gili Gede, absolutely the best decision! Rusydi is an amazing instructor: well experienced and truly knows his stuff! He made sure to check on my diving skills and techniques, advise on parts I can improve, and confirmed ones I’ve already done right. He’s very patient and attentive, encouraging me to continue adding more dives on my logbook :) the team: Indra, hakim, andre, hahamri, jufri - were awesome and pleasant to dive with. Our dives were well arranged and smooth. I got my license, yay!! 😉 Gili Gede is a perfect spot for diving: beautiful, quiet, and mild current. We did our dives in spots around the islands: I was completely awed by the colorful corals and the diverse fishes and macros. We even spotted a few turtles during our dives! White tip sharks also roam around the area. During my course, I stayed in Lombok Eco Dive Resort accomodation, just 10 minutes boat ride from Tembowong Port. They can easily arrange a boat for you to cross, 24/7. The simple room is spotless: equipped with the right amenities, comfortable bed, and aircon. The washroom is clean and well maintained. You’ll get towel during your stay, but make you you bring your own toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, etc). For dinner (or any other meal), you can easily buy from Marina Del Rey, 5 minutes walk from the lodge. Be sure to ask the lodge operator on where’s the best sunset spot in Gili Gede 😉 10/10 recommended!

I spent 5 days at Eco Dive Lombok, it was an amazing experience ! The crew was just so friendly and experienced. They welcomed me so well. Also, this spot for diving is incredible, I saw plenty of amazing things during my dives. I really recommend!
