Lighthouse Diving Center

We turned up at Faro Diving Centre yesterday (26.9.25). Mario was there to greet us, he was extremely knowledgeable about what we saw - lots of pods of dolphins. The people we went on the boat trip with were amazing. Absolutely the best part of the trip about visiting Sicily. We will definitely be back another time. Highly highly recommend!

Mario is an excellent guide, very passionate about his work and the marine nature. We had an excellent trip we saw a turtle and we swam in the deep blue ocean in such calm magical waters. Mario is friendly, welcoming and caring This is a must do trip... the dolphins didn't show for us but it didn't spoil the experience, it was unique trip and if we had more time we would have definitely done another trip. Fabulous! We also hired a duo kayak and adventured around the volcanic coast of Stazzo fantastic!!!

We went diving with Mario on several occasions and also joined him on a dolphin-watching trip. What impressed us most was his deep respect for nature and his kindness towards his guests, in our eyes, the two most important qualities for truly sustainable tourism. We usually did two dives back-to-back. While the shore dive was enjoyable, the boat dives offered even more to discover. We encountered a fascinating variety of marine life, including several species of nudibranchs, parrotfish, octopuses, and moray eels. The dolphin-watching trip was another highlight. We were lucky enough to see several pods of striped dolphins, and Mario knew exactly how long we could observe them without disturbing their natural behavior.
