LAVIEMARINE DIVE CEBU

Great little drive shop run by korean/philipino team. They were very patient with us since we had trouble paying (credit card wasn't accepted although one of the team working there when we booked in person the night before said they did accept). Used Wise to transfer to a Korean bank account in the end. We did 3 snorkeling stops (the test of the tour group did 3 scuba dives in the same areas) - 2 at Gilutongan and 1 near coast by The Cove restaurant where we saw a huge shoal of sardine. The lunch on the boat was excellent and was accompanied by Korean pop music. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend. We were a couple. We saw other boats going out with many more tourists on so I think we were pretty lucky.

My family and I made a reservation for diving with Laviemmarine and when we arrived, a guy from another shop showed up. He said he would guide us because Laviemarine instructor was not available at that time. He tried to ease our mind saying "it happens quite often. When I'm not available, he replaces me." We agreed to go to his shop anyway and double checked our schedule. He asked if we were going to have 3 times of fun diving for 1 person and 1 time experience diving for 2 people. I corrected him as we reserved both 3 times of fun and experience diving. He said it could not be possibly true, since it was not profitable for dive shop at the price. So I showed him the whole text message with Laviemarine. But he kept saying that there must had been misunderstanding and tried to reach Laviemarine which turned in fail. At the end, he guided our diving as per thr original reservation anyway but I 'll never know what experience was like if we were with Laviemarine. It makes me unhappy that Laviemarine has never told me that he would hand our family over to another shop. I chose Laviemarine after checking good reviews. Laviemarine probably provide a great service, but you may encounter a random guy whom you has never contacted.
