Lalaguna Villas Luxury Dive Resort and Spa

Stayed here 5 nights on a dive trip. First of all the view from the balconies is amazing. Great location close to Sabang beach if you need anything but peaceful and beautiful. Rooms are great. Restaurant is very solid for the area. Only 1-2 that arguably are better. Recommend the shrimp quesadilla. Staff is amazing. Had a few situations in logistics and minor medical thing I had to deal with and staff handled it amazingly.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lalaguna Villas and can’t recommend them highly enough! The location is perfect—peaceful and beautiful, yet close enough to everything you need in Sabang. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well organized. The team arranged our transfers from the ferry and back seamlessly, which made the entire trip completely stress-free. The dive operation is outstanding. We dived with Mike and Kent, and they were both fantastic: professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced. The entire dive crew is extremely well organized, and safety is obviously a top priority. Every dive was conducted with care and attention to detail, while still keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. The briefings were thorough, the equipment well maintained, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We also completed our AOW and Nitrox PADI courses during our stay, with all our training led by Liam. He was an excellent instructor—patient, clear, and very safety-focused. He made the learning process enjoyable while ensuring we felt confident and comfortable at every step. It was a truly great and safe experience, and we’re very grateful to have done our courses there. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, cleaned meticulously every day. The entire resort feels well cared for and welcoming. A special thanks as well to Fer and the entire front desk team. From organizing transfers to answering questions and assisting with anything we needed, everything was handled efficiently and with a smile. The restaurant staff were attentive and kind, and breakfast each morning was excellent. Overall, Lalaguna Villas delivers the complete package: great location, top-notch diving, comfort, safety, and genuinely warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Outstanding experience at LLV, and if I’m in the area again I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. Front desk and bar/restaurant are both open 24 hours, which is super convenient for late nights and early mornings. Tons of friendly faces with outstanding service, all remembering my name and food/drink preferences. Impeccable service and great kitchen/dining layout. Resort isn’t huge, which I like. You recognize the other travelers staying there, and it helps create a social environment. I would guess ~40 rooms on the property. I found everyone to be extremely pleasant and welcoming. Big enough to have everything I need, but not too big. Rooms are great, pretty modern with great AC and free laundry service which was super convenient. Even by US standards these were nice rooms. Amenities were super convenient as well. Hotel could set up shuttles to travel in the Puerto Galera area and to help getting too/from the resort. Resort was a short ~8 minute walk along the beach to the downtown area, and they still have a boat that drops off downtown for free if desired. Front desk was super helpful in setting this all up. Also have currency exchange at front desk which was convenient. With all that said, the dive shop was the best part of my stay. The dive staff is outstanding and extremely knowledgeable. I did my OW, AOW, and Nitrox with the head dive instructor, Jamie Morton, and he did an outstanding job. 1 on 1 instruction the entire time, and was patient and informative while teaching. Seemed like he had been doing this for lifetimes. Brought me on some great dives and has a great eye for finding rockfish and sea turtles. All the staff are super friendly and helpful with the diving experience. Super fun experience and the diving is world class. Even as a new diver, I never felt unsafe in their hands. Couldn’t speak more highly about my experience at LLV. If looking for a place to stay in Sabang, you can stop now. LLV is the place to be.
