La Paz Explorer - Diving & Tours

Staff are very organized, communicated well, and friendly. We scuba dived and did the whale shark tour, our guide, Daleth, had incredible stamina to help us keep us with the whale sharks who were moving so fast, very impressed. She wanted to make sure everyone had the opportunity to see this majestic animal. She was also our dive instructor, loved her attention to detail and care. Also, my friend left her go pro on the boat and they were so kind to deliver it to our stay. Excellent customer service all around, I would definitely return to them if I'm in La Paz again. We booked 3 excursions with La Paz Explorers and enjoyed them all. Their communication is excellent via Whatsapp. One of the owners met us at the dock every day. We did two dives on a reef the first day. The conditions weren't great but the dive guide, Daleth, was very good and kept us together in limited visibility. The next day we went swimming with Whale Sharks. This was on our bucket list and we were very pleased to find at least 7. Again Daleth was the guide and she made sure our group of 4 got to experience up close encounters until we were too tired to swim! A tip is to book the small group, that way you can swim with every Whale Shark they find. Only 5 people are allowed in the water at a time. If you go with 10 people you only get to see half of the Sharks. Our last day was Scuba diving with Sea Lions, which was fantastic! We did two dives and both times the Sea Lions chose me to interact with. Out of our group of 6 divers I was the only one, so don't count on them playing with you, but it was very cool. They also recommended a fishing guide for our last day and it was successful. We each caught a large Yellowtail.
