La Paz Diving Sea Lions Dive Center

Quite frankly, the best dive center I've been too. The staff were super friendly and helpful, as well as calm and organized. The gear is in good shape, and the tours are unmatched, from snorkeling with sea lions to scuba diving in shipwrecks. The captain Pariente was super, and Ivan was really helpful with getting people ready and guiding them through the dives. Amandine was for clear with instructions and directions, and there was no language barrier at all. Really great place.

We had the most amazing day—truly a dream come true. Diego and Beto were an incredible team. They made the experience fun while staying completely professional, and their respect for ocean life was evident in everything they did, all while giving us every opportunity (and more) to experience it fully. Diego’s knowledge of the ocean is remarkable, and Beto navigated the water like it was second nature. We were beyond lucky to see bottlenose dolphins, a sea turtle, jellyfish, snorkel with sea lions, and countless beautiful, unique fish—including cownose rays—and of course, the majestic whale sharks. The entire experience felt ethical, authentic, and deeply respectful. We were humbled by the size and presence of the whale sharks and truly impressed by the company’s strict regulations and care while in the water with them. It made the experience even more meaningful. They made sure we were comfortable, well fed, and patiently answered all of our many curious questions. We would do this again in a heartbeat with the same company, over and over. Thank you for giving us the best day—we’ll never forget it.

We just finished three incredible days diving with Sea Lions Dive Center in La Paz and can’t recommend them enough. Our guides — Bernat, Amandine, and Nico — were outstanding, and Captain Beto kept everything smooth, safe, and fun. Our family of four did multiple certifications (Nitrox, Open Water, and Advanced), and the team was patient, encouraging, and amazing with our kids. Bernat especially noticed when our youngest needed extra attention and made sure she got it. The dive sites were unreal — hammerheads, sea lions, a wreck dive, and a deep dive. They went above and beyond on and off the boat (ponchos, keeping everyone comfortable, and Bernat even shared his own lunch when my picky child wouldn’t eat). We learned a ton and had the time of our lives. Thank you, Bernat, Amandine, Nico, and Beto — we’ll be back! 🤿💙
