The best local bar in Tulum — you should definitely visit this place. They usually have live music every night around 10 PM. The drinks are not pricey, and the neighborhood is great. We went there three times during our stay. There’s a rooftop if you want to chill, and another area for dancing with a DJ or enjoying the live music.
This is our favorite bar in Tulum. The vibes are incredible along with the best Mezcalita you'll find in town. It's a great place to go for an afternoon drink, or to enjoy some cocktails in the evening while listening to live music or a DJ.
La Guarida has a great vibe — stylish, cozy, and very atmospheric. However, the food and prices are very similar to what you’d find in the U.S. I ordered the tuna and specifically asked for it to be well done, but it was served medium. On the positive side, the mussels were delicious. As for the drinks, the Margarita and Mezcalita felt a bit weak on the alcohol. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for the ambiance, but I wouldn't set your expectations too high for the kitchen.
