Koh Tao Divers - KTD

I completed a refresher course as well as my advanced diver certification with Koh Tao Diver. I have to say, I had no idea whether the reviews were fake or just overly hyped or how the dive shop would look (since I booked prior to coming to Koh Tao) but I am so so happy I completed all my dives with this dive shop. The level of organization, professionalism, and communication I received back from them on all my questions/concerns was outstanding. I loved the smaller class sizes. Some dive shops on the island take up to 8 divers and KTD has a limit of 4 people per group. I lucked out bc I completed my advanced diver when less people were on the island and ended up having an1-1 personal dive lesson. The dive shop booked me with the same person who conducted my refresher course, Joanna, for both days of the advanced diving as well so I felt very comfortable and at ease understanding her communication under water. Joanna was amazing! She is so calm, very detail oriented, and was available to answer anything I asked. Prior to each dive she would explain the drill and dive route we were going to do. This allowed me to have a god sense of what was to come and not feel so lost. I appreciated how she spent a good amount of time with me on obtaining perfect buoyancy as well as navigation and how to read my dive computer. These are all areas I felt most weak in and I really wanted to better understand before leaving the island. Thanks to Joanna, I now have the confidence to be able to dive back home. I know there is still so much to explore underwater and learn and I look forward to returning to Koh Tao and continuing more studies at this location. This dive shop in particular is more of a technical dive shop and I appreciated the level of mastery of each of the dive instructors (especially mine!).

I had an absolutely amazing experience completing my Open Water diving course with Niina. From the very beginning everyone made me feel truly welcome and she made sure every detail was taken care of so we always felt safe and comfortable. Learning with her was so easy and enjoyable. She explains everything clearly, stays calm in every situation and creates such a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. I couldn’t have imagined a better Open Water course. Highly recommended! 🤿🌊

Did my OWD last year and now Advanced OWD here + few fun dives. Super professional and awesome staff. Just to name few, Alex, Ukki, Alfonso and all of their staff is simply amazing! There is not so many dive centers, that has build such an amazing and welcoming community around them. Already booking my next trip to Koh Tao, so I can continue my journey of learning and diving with them😎
